Judges enter final hours of Round 1 judging

March 30, 2011

Round 1 judging for Prize2theFuture began officially on March 17, when 35 judges received their assigned entries out of almost 1,000 submissions that passed through a thorough review for compliance with contest rules. Now Round 1 is coming to an end and 50 entries will move forward to the Final Rounds on April 1.

According to judging chair Tom Leader, the quality of entries is good and the content of the ideas are inspiring. That’s good news for our community, as we wait to see what one great idea emerges from the crowded field.

Join us on May 5 at 5 p.m. at the Alabama Theatre as we announce the judges’ decisions about the top idea and remaining finalists and celebrate all the great entries that have made Prize2theFuture successful.
