Computer beats Jeopardy! champ, but charity still wins

Brad Rutter made history recently as one of two human contestants defeated by IBM’s Watson computing system in the TV contest Jeopardy! Even in that defeat, he won many hearts by choosing to donate 50 percent of his $200,000 take in the February contest to the Lancaster County (Penn.) Community Foundation.
