New framework focuses on Results we can measure

December 14, 2010

Did you ever wonder how your Community Foundation decides the best way to invest the gifts entrusted to our Community Fund endowment? For more than 50 years, we’ve worked hard to listen to what our community wants for itself.

For Community Fund grants in 2011, a new Results Framework translates our community’s hopes and dreams into a new way to look at how all our efforts work together to create positive change.

Over the past three months, our Community Investment staff has been introducing these changes to our nonprofit partners. Starting Dec. 13, 2010, they could begin the process of presenting Brief Proposals for how we can work together to improve education and health, create vibrant communities with robust arts and cultural opportunities and improve economic security for individuals and families.
