Time to plant seeds for success with your community garden

November 1, 2010

Do you want to develop a Community Garden for your church, school, neighborhood or club. Jones Valley Urban Farm is planting the seed for you to be successful with six training sessions, once a month from December through May.

You can find out more at a free orientation workshop starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, with lunch to follow at the farm site, 701 25th Street North.

Jones Valley Urban Farm, one of our great collaborators in the Health Action Partnership, has worked with many groups already, so they know how to help with site and crop selection, community involvement and all the other issues that lead to success.

To find out more or reserve your spot, call 439-7213 or send an e-mail to programs@jvuf.org.
